Brewed coffee is made with our infusion brewer. Hot water is poured over ground coffee beans and through a filter.
While espresso uses pressure to combine hot water and coffee grounds, drip coffee uses a filter, and patience. Coffee has been brewed many different ways since the 17th century, but it wasn’t until 1780 when a commercial coffee maker was introduced in England. Its use of a filter facilitated a slow “drip” of coffee that was stronger than past brews– making it worth the wait.
